Simply Marinate Grilled Ribs With BBQ Sauce

Grilled ribs with BBQ sauce

Ingredients:

  • Pork ribs, you can buy whole chest not chopped if you want.
  • Chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder.
  • Ketchup.
  • Fruit vinegar.
  • Salt, sugar, pepper.
  • Dried thyme or rosemary leaves (if available).

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Wash ribs and drain.
  • Step 2: Cook BBQ sauce
    Boil a mixture of ketchup, fruit vinegar, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herb leaves (if any) over low heat, stirring for 10-15 minutes.
    Add the sugar, stir gently until the sugar dissolves, then turn off the heat.
    Note: if you leave the whole ribs, you should not cook the sauce too thick, it will make it difficult for the spices to penetrate into the dish.
  • Step 3: Marinate grilled ribs.
    Apply a thin layer of salt, pepper, and chili powder to the surface of the ribs.
    Marinate ribs with BBQ sauce.
    Let the ribs rest for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Step 4: Wrap in foil before placing the ribs in the oven.
